The Visit - Uncut Version!

OK - feel like we're in heaven! Just landed in Guangzhou and checked in... asked for upgrade and they said "no problems" and the suite is better than places we stay in back home! (AND they have 100 Mbps internet access fo free... like I said heaven!)

So here is the rest of the video with Adiah's room, Adiah's main nanny, etc.

Can't wait for you to see what we got on tape this morning... thank you Jesus!

His peace,
B&A

Beautiful. So moving to see the place she was as she was being prayed over so diligently these last couple of years, and to see the faces of those who we've been praying for as they cared for her. To see what God saw as we prayed blindly, simply moving.

Precious babies in the beds surrounding hers. I love reading the other blogs of those traveling or about to travel too. Inspiring.

Great to see Brian, although Amy is easier on the eyes!! JK!

Love from Texas,
Happy Good Friday,
Gina

So happy to see the whole video. I told Dad that I wish I could adopt all those beautiful little girls. I just pray that they will be with their "forever" families soon.

We are off to Fossil Rim today. Leaving in a couple of hours.

Talk to you soon!

Oh my. Can you pack one of those little ones in your bag and bring them home for me? Talk about pulling on your heart. I can't wait to see your tape from this morning! I hope she's saying "Eli Kerley, I DO!" HA! I got to see Matt last night at praise team practice. It was good to SEE someone that is linked so closely to you. MISS YOU and LOVE YOU!

Amazing video. What a blessing to be able to have so much access to her orphanage and see where she spent the first part of her life. The pictures of the babies is heartbreaking...do you know if they have been referred to families yet? What a great gift to Adiah to be able to show her who her friends and nannies were. So glad things are well in Guangzhou! I'm sure you'll have an awesome time shopping! I hope you have an very blessed Easter...He Is Risen!!!!

How remarkable! What a blessing that you were able to go and see where Adiah lived the first part of her life. I sat hear with tears streaming down my face as I looked at the room and all the children still in their cribs. I pray that they are able to find loving parents so they too can leave the orphanage. I loved the vide of Brian holding her, praise God! May you continue to have progress the next few days before you return to the states. God bless!

What a beautiful documentary of your trip, not only for us and your family, but for Adiah as she grows. I look forward to seeing you all safe and sound back in Texas.

When we arrived in Guangzhou, I think the boys thought we were in Disneyland. After spending a snowy week in Hefei IN the hotel, they were soooo happy to see PizzaHut, KFC and McDonalds right outside the hotel! I was happy to find Starbucks!!

Amy-You should go get a foot massage...its not quite like home. :)

Wow so nice to see where she was cared for ....seems as they were very caring. Wondering if it is cold inside as it seemed like all the babes were wearing very puffy outfits......

Thank you so much for sharing this video with us. It breaks my heart to see those adorable babies there, even though they are loved. I am so moved to see where our girls lived. I sit here with tears running down my cheeks, having an incredibly hard time writing. I think I'm going to have to go get Maddie up to hug her & thank God SOOOO much for this wonderful gift. How did Adiah react at being back at the orphanage? She looked very content in both your arms. God bless you as you continue this amazing journey. Praying for you.

Would it be ok to share your blog, especially the video of the orphanage with my family & friends, so they know more of where our baby came from?
I also forgot to ask you where you are staying in Guangzhou? Which hotel?

It is a beautiful thing to watch the transformation in Adiah's countenance. In five short days there is such a change, from fear and timidity - to peace and joy. Happy Easter to all. We celebrate the Risen Christ, New Life, and new beginnings. Love in Him,
Mom
